Marie Antoinette Review / Sofia Coppola's Style
I think the plot in this movie was amazing as it started a fourteen year old girl in which she was the youngest daughter of the empress. Eventually her power got put to the test as she was sent to marry and also create an alliance between two rival countries. After traveling for a while she runs into her future husband, once married they were set to face many task that only some can handle. Sofias style when creating this over all was amazing, this movie gave the feeling of hope, and success thought-out the film. Based off the feeling you got from the film you can tell that hard work and long thought was put in this, many sense where pictures out the right way and the film caught viewers attention and kept it the whole time.
When it comes to the coherent internal vision I would say a part in the film was when she met her future husband and knew thats who she wanted to marry. I would say this relates back to real life circumstances and she did a great job in making it relatable for viewers. As discusses before the cinematography was great as the movie just was very bright and gave light to people and positive thoughts. This film was very big on cultural awareness as you noticed that having peace within was big, nobody wanted to be at war or unhappy though-out the film.
