Introduction and Snowy movie reaction.

 My name is Nicholas McClinton Jr, I am a sophomore attending North Central College. My major is finance with a minor in economics. I am a first generation student on campus and am involved in many organizations throughout campus. On campus I am the treasure of Black Business Students Association. This is a new organization that a group and I created last semester, although we are new on campus we are growing as an organization. I am a peer mentor for Multi-Cultural Affairs, I have six mentees that I meet with weekly to give advice to and just support them through their first year as a black student at North Central. I am in Black Student Association; in this organization we meet up weekly to talk about events on campus and just things happening in the world we are living in. To anyone who reads this if your interested in joining any of our organizations just reach out ! 

On January 13th, we watched a movie in class called Snowy. When watching this movie it is important for me to just take in everything and observe before I comment on how good the movie was and or how it made me feel. In this movie I believe the story that affected me the most was when Snowy was getting evaluated and his intestines came out. This was a surprising moment as it wasn't expected but it certainly caught peoples attention. For the Cinematography in this movie I would say that the seen I loved the most was when Snowy was let into the back yard to in a sense be free. This was an amazing scene as the music played, it felt so refreshing and like it was a turn of a new leaf. This movie had cultural relevance simply because it relates to people and how could potently live. Snowy showed the importance of getting checkups, and going outside to enjoy nature as it's essential to having a healthier lifestyle. Overall I think it was a very good movie and it had a clear story behind it.
